Information Assurance Minor (15 hours)
The Information Assurance minor is a 15 hour course sequence that is designed to provide an interdisciplinary education to students seeking careers in technology- and information-intensive fields related to Accounting, Information Systems, and Finance. Students who earn a minor in Information Assurance typically pursue career opportunities in the areas of systems consultancy, IT Auditing, Financial Auditing, and Financial Management, with international accounting firms or large publicly traded companies. The Information Assurance minor is tailored to complement the major chosen by the student. Therefore, the required courses for the minor differ depending upon the individual student's major.

Technical Systems Management Minor
Students who minor in the Technical Systems Management Minor learn to understand systems and processes well enough to track and anticipate problems and monitor and respond to process improvement in a hands-on classroom setting. It is the perfect minor for students who enjoy hands-on learning and real world problem-solving. The minor is offered through the College of Business with concepts taught by AU faculty and laboratories taught by qualified Southern Union Community College instructors in state-of-the-art technology settings. The summer studio provides students real-world problems from an array of business partners.
