Professional Activities:
Dr. Adams'' research interests include corporate governance, power and politics in organizations, organizational learning and resource management, and merger and acquisition integration processes. His work has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Knowledge Management, the Journal of Business and Psychology, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, the International Journal of Information Systems and Change Management, and the initial volume of The Many Faces of Multi-Level Issues. Professor Adams has served as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Management, the Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. He is a member of the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA), the Southern Management Association, and is a McKnight Fellow. Dr. Adams teaches Strategic Management at Auburn, and has prior work experience in the Oil Refining industry with Clark Refining and Marketing.
