Professor Craighead has articles published in Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, Supply Chain Management Review, International Journal of Logistics Management, Communications of the ACM, DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education and other journals. He has been the recipient of several research fellowships, competitive research grants, and research awards. For examples, he was co-author on a paper that won the Wickham Skinner Best Paper Award given by the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) and he won the 2006 Outstanding Research Award for the College of Business at Auburn University. He also has been the recipient of several teaching awards including the 2004 MBA Teacher of the Year Award and the 2006 McCartney Teaching Award at Auburn University--these awards represent top college-wide honors for graduate and undergraduate teaching excellence. Professor Craighead serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Operations Management -- prior to this position, he served on the Editorial Review Board where he received the 2003 Reviewer of the Year Award. He is an Area Editor for Operations Management Research and also serves on the Editorial Review Boards of Decision Sciences and Production and Operations Management. Professor Craighead is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, Institute for Supply Management, Production and Operations Management Society, and APICS—The Association for Operations Management.
