Professional Activities:
Dr. Defee held the position of chief operating officer prior to beginning his academic career. He has consulted with dozens of supply chain organizations including Blockbuster Video, Dell, Disney, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Nokia, Tandy, and The US Mint. Dr. Defee's research has appeared in The International Journal of Logistics, and Supply Chain Forum. He currently teaches supply chain strategy. Dr. Defee is member of the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and the Strategic Management Society.
