Professional Activities:
Dr. Fisher brings over twenty-five years of practical business experience in the freight transportation industry. He has held positions including Assistant General Manager, Director Planning & Budgeting, Vice President Marketing, Vice President Corporate Development, Vice President International, and President/CEO. Doug has worked in the air cargo, LTL, TL and non-asset based forwarding industries. He is currently a Partner in the firm of Cascade Consulting Partners, Inc., a firm specializing smart pricing and the application of RPO to the freight transportation industry.

Dr. Fisher received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, and an MBA and DBA in Transportation/Management/Quantitative Analysis from Indiana University.

Dr. Fisher is currently a member of the Clayton College & State University School of Business Advisory Board, the Peachtree City Airport Authority, the Council of Logistics Management, the Indiana University International Business Forum, and is an Advisor to the Logistics Value Stream Fund. He is also Past President of the AirForwarders’ Association.
