Professional Activities:
Dr. Utete’s research interests lie in the area of corporate finance, with a specific focus on issues in corporate governance. Prior to joining Auburn’s faculty, Dr. Utete taught corporate finance and investments at Michigan State University. At Auburn, Dr. Utete teaches multinational finance at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He has served as an ad-hoc referee for the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal and is a member of the American Finance Association and the Financial Management Association.
