Professional Activities:
Professor Jones-Farmer's research interests include Statistical Process Control, Control Charts, and Multivariate Methods. Her research has been published in several scholarly journals including Technometrics, Journal of Quality Technology, Quality and Reliability Engineering International and Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation. She has served as an Associate Editor for Technometrics since 2001. Professor Jones-Farmer teaches both undergraduate and graduate statistical methods. She is the 2005 recipient of the Colonial Company Teaching Excellence Award. She is actively involved in the PhD programs in the department of management. Her teaching specialties include regression, multivariate methods, and structural equation models. Prior to entering academe, Professor Jones-Farmer worked as a Quality Consultant for SBC Corporation. In addition, she has consulted with several large corporations.
