Professional Activities:
Dr. Baker has published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, The Leadership Quarterly and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. She has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Business Research and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Dr. Baker won the Academy of Management Journal 2007 Best Paper Award. At Auburn, Dr. Baker teaches strategic management and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Auburn University, Dr. Baker was on faculty at Mississippi State University, where she taught strategic management, and an adjunct at Texas State University where she taught graduate Marketing Strategy. In addition, Dr. Baker has 11 years experience as an engineer and product marketer with 3M and was certified by the Product Development and Management Association as a New Product Development Professional. Dr Baker is a member of the Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association and the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
