Dr. Mueller is a KPMG Faculty Fellow in the School of Accountancy. She has published articles in Behavioral Research in Accounting, Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Forensic Accounting, Journal of Accountancy, The CPA Journal, and Strategic Finance. Dr. Mueller has been recognized for outstanding teaching by receiving the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award at Virginia Tech and the Outstanding Teaching Award for the School of Accountancy at Auburn University. Courses taught at Auburn include undergraduate auditing, undergraduate and graduate accounting information systems, and the comprehensive Capstone course in the Master of Accountancy. Prior to joining Auburn University, she taught various courses at Virginia Tech including undergraduate auditing and principles of accounting. During her undergraduate study and prior to returning to graduate school, Dr. Mueller worked for a division of RoTech Healthcare Incorporated in accounting and management. She is an active member of the American Accounting Association, the On-Campus Champion for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and an associate member of both the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Information Systems Audit & Control Association. Dr. Mueller is also an advisor to the Delta Delta Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Auburn University.
