Professional Activities:
Dr. Uzumeri's research focuses on the use of management control systems and organizational learning to develop effective, lean operations. He has published in Research Policy, California Management Review, Management Science, Journal of Operations Management, Accounting Horizons and Academy of Management Executive. He currently teaches in the undergraduate, graduate and Executive MBA program. His technical interests include process analysis, system modeling, eLearning and information technology. He works extensively with operations and training groups in several major national and international corporations. His industry experience has included work for several engineering firms, including a leading developer of wind tunnels for automotive and aerospace applications worldwide.
