Dr. Gerken''s research focuses on corporate governance and investment fraud. Professor Gerken currently teaches Financial Institutions and Markets. Before coming to Auburn University, Dr. Gerken taught derivatives at the Michigan State University, where he received the
Excellence in Teaching award from the Department of Finance.
Prior to entering academia, he worked for Citigroup in Atlanta.
He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta.
