Professional Activities:
As a member of Network and Media Services, Adam Williams is responsible for maintaining the College of Business' Windows server resources, Antivirus protection, Windows Domain and domain policies, as well as assisting in matters of technical and classroom support. Mr. Williams is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
Windows Server Resources include:
-Domain controllers which host the COB domain
-Network file shares
-Network printing services
-Network server based applications
-Network based Licensing software
Antivirus Protection includes:
-McAfee ePO server
-McAfee Antivirus installation and support
-Windows firewall configuration and management
-Windows Server Update Services (provides Windows updates to COB computers)
-Member of the Virus Protection Team
Windows Domain and domain policies include:
-Computer and user account management
-Use of user groups to grant and control access to network resources
-Domain firewall and update configuration policies.
