Professor Wilson has published in various academic and practitioner journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, Advances in Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accountancy, and the CPA Journal. She has also served as an ad hoc reviewer for several of these journals. Professor Wilson has over 25 years of teaching and research experience primarily in the area of financial accounting. She is a certified public accountant (CPA), certified internal auditor (CIA), and a certified management accountant (CMA).
