School of Accountancy
Assistant / Associate Professor
Start Date: Fall 2009
The School of Accountancy invites applications for two anticipated tenure-track faculty
positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank effective Fall 2009. Although applicants
from all areas will be considered for both positions, priority is in the tax accounting area.
Applicants must possess a doctorate in accounting at the time of appointment from an
AACSB-accredited institution. Professional certification is desired. Teaching at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae,

Finance
Assistant/Associate Professor
Start Date: Fall 2008
The Department of Finance invites applications and nominations for an anticipated
tenure-track faculty position (pending funding) as assistant or possibly associate professor
of finance starting in Fall Semester, 2009. Successful applicants must have earned, as of
the appointment date, a PhD/D.B.A. in finance or business with a major in finance. The
Department seeks candidates with an instructional emphasis in investments, corporate finance
and/or financial institutions. Candidates must have strong research credentials/potential.
In addition, an interest in and willingness to interact with business and industry is
preferred, as is industry and business experience. This faculty is expected to contribute
in instruction, research, and service/outreach/extension. Interested applicants should send

Management
Assistant/Associate Professor
Start Date: Fall 2008
The Department of Management anticipates an opening for a tenure track Assistant/Associate
Professor in strategic management for Fall Semester, 2009. A doctorate in management with
a concentration/specialty in strategy is required for appointment at the Assistant Professor
level. ABDs scheduled to receive their PhD by August, 2009, will be considered but
appointment would be contingent upon awarding of the PhD by the date of hire. For
appointment at the Associate level, in addition to a doctorate and specialty in the
specified areas, strong research credentials are required. Previous industry experience
and evidence of strong teaching ability is desired. Successful applicants will be expected
to maintain a productive research program, as well as contribute to the service and outreach
needs of the department. Teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels is
anticipated, including participation in the Ph.D. program and the MBA program. Teaching in
various distance learning programs would also be available.
