The College of Business recognized three outstanding students at the Spring graduation ceremony.
With awards that acknowledge academic excellence as well as leadership and service, the College of Business recognized three outstanding students at spring’s graduation ceremonies. Courtni Ward received the 2010 President’s Award; Andrea McDonnell the Student Government Award; and Devon Kuerten was selected as Graduation Marshal.
Each of the students credit success to the support they received from the CoB faculty. “They don’t just stand there and regurgitate information. They make sure you are learning what you really need to know, says Devon. “The door is always open. The faculty welcome you into the Auburn Family.”
Courtni adds, “My professors really invested their time and energy… and not just in the classroom. I found that not just reassuring with regards to my own ability to go out into the world and succeed, but also extremely motivating.”
Devon is headed to Lexmark for a position in supply chain management; Courtni’s going to Ernst and Young’s Advisory Division and Andrea will take up graduate studies at the University of Southern California.
