Professional Activities
Professor Connelly has published in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. He sits on the editorial boards of several top-tier journals. In recent years, he has won awards for both outstanding researcher and outstanding teacher in the College of Business. He is a member of the Strategic Management Society, Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, and the Southern Management Association. Dr Connelly teaches Strategic Management and Project Management to undergraduates, masters and PhD students. He also has 15 years of experience in engineering and international business with Westinghouse and Hughes Network Systems. During this time, he has lived and worked in England, Southeast Asia, and throughout the northeastern United States.
