On-Campus Interviews

The Office of Professional & Career Development is being created to assist with your college relations and college recruiting efforts for business students at Auburn University.  The Auburn University Career Development Services Office (CDS - 303 Martin Hall; 334-844-4744) partners with the OPCD in providing seamless career services to both students and employers.  As we complete the construction of the OPCD, CDS will be assisting firms with the logistics of their on-campus interviewing activities.

For any of your potential interviewing activities, please take into account your timetable for beginning and finishing your process. For some employers, the interviewing process is several months, depending on the number of schools involved and the logistics of site visits, etc. Conversely, some interviewing plans can be easily completed within one month.

The on-campus recruiting process is sensitive to the academic calendar in terms of publicizing your information, giving students time to respond, and affording time for students to sign-up for interviews.

The heaviest semester of recruiting activity is usually in the Fall semester for the entire academic year. The OPCD and CDS are able to handle shorter contingencies if your needs are more immediate, and do not allow time for drawn out timeframes. Please communicate with Dr. Lawrence (334-844-2218; lawrejd@auburn.edu ) in the OPCD as early as possible, and let him know what your goals and contingencies are, and he will do his best to assist you in identifying talent in the College of Business to meet your needs.
