Tuition & Fees
Auburn University’s fees have remained somewhat lower than those charged by similar institutions in the Southeast and in other sections of the country. As institutional costs have risen, the Board of Trustees has authorized small increases in fees from time to time. Every effort is made, however, to hold fees and charges at a minimum.
The estimated cost of attendance is the estimate of what it will cost to attend AU and live in Auburn for the academic year. This figure consists of estimated tuition, professional fees, books, room/board, personal, and transportation costs. Items could be higher or lower than our estimates depending on personal spending habits.
To see an estimated student expense budget for the 2009-2010 academic year, click here (http://www.auburn.edu/administration/business_office/finaid/pdf/cost.pdf). Tuition for the 2010-2011 academic year will not be approved by the Board of Trustees until the spring 2009. Please note that every effort will be made to publicize changes as far in advance as possible.
Beginning with the 2009-2010 academic year, a professional fee will be assessed each semester to all undergraduate students in the College of Business. The fee will continue for all subsequent semesters until graduation and varies according to your class standing each term. For information on the College of Business Professional Fee, please view our Frequently Asked Questions.
