Students - Job Search Seminars

Throughout Fall and Spring semesters, the OPCD offers a variety of one hour seminars from the following job search – related topics in the Lowder Business Building (See OBSP Calendar for details each semester):

• Researching Industries & Firms
• Resume & Cover Letter Writing

• Interview Preparation
• Salary Negotiation
• Career Expo Preparation
• Starting Your Internship / First Job

Each seminar is designed to provide you with the basics to begin using the information immediately in your career activities. The content and format of the presentations are oriented towards addressing typical situations experienced by students in the intern/job search process, and what employers do and may expect in their interactions with students.  Interaction among the seminar attendees and the facilitator, and the exchange of attendee experiences and questions are highly desired during the seminar sessions.
