 BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor of Finance and the Torchmark Professor in the College of Business, teaching a course on investments. Park’s research interests are in the areas of political finance, market efficiency, and international finance. His work has been published in top finance journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Financial Management, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Corporate Finance. He received the Financial News & KAFA Top-Journal Paper Award from the Korea America Finance Association and the STOXX Best Paper Research Award at the European Financial Management Association Meeting. He is also the recipient of the Outstanding Research Award from the College of Business at Auburn University. Prior to joining the faculty at Auburn, Dr. Park taught at Louisiana Tech University and the University of South Florida.
